Dorothy Ann Wright, 83, of Eldorado, passed away on March 6, 2025 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Dorothy was born in Dykersburg, IL on November 4, 1941 to the late Harry Allen and Madge Lee (Hendrickson) Hosmon. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church, Eldorado, she was a homemaker and she worked as a cook for the Eldorado Unit 4 Schools. God blessed her with many talents including quilting, sewing, cooking, and baking. But, most of all loving the Lord and caring for many children.
On August 30, 1962 she married James G. "Jim" Wright Jr. and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2016. She is survived by her children, James F. (Sandy) Wright of Lake Alfred, FL and Marie L. (Keith) Lands of Harrisburg, two grandchildren, Jamie M. (Kyle) Owens of Winter Haven, FL and Rachel E. Lands of Harrisburg and a great grandchild, Adaline R. Owens. She is also survived by two sisters, Harriett June Phelps of Raleigh and Janet (Stacey) Peebels of Pittsburg, sisters-in-law, Brenda Hosmo
