Sammy L. "Sam" Disney, 88, of Eldorado, passed away on January 27, 2025 in the Illinois Veterans Home of Anna.
Sam was born in Muddy, IL on September 1, 1936 to the late Charles Owen and Lula Marie (Girot) Disney. He worked for White Westinghouse in Evansville, IN, and then Nuway Furniture in Eldorado for 35 plus years where he retired from. He was an Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Muddy Baptist Church in Muddy, and he loved fishing and gardening.
On March 21, 1974 he married the former Brenda Sue McKinney and she preceded him in death on February 9, 2023. Sam survived by his Sons, Aaron Brent (Mistie) Disney of Evansville, Indiana and Adam Kyle (Rachel) Disney of Marion, Illinois. Daughter, Leigh Ann (Steve) Murray of Eldorado, Illinois, six grandchildren, Mazie Disney, Gabe Disney, Cole Disney, Avery Disney, Evan Murray and Elijah Murray. A brother, David (Katie) Disney and a sister, Peggy Miley, a brother-in-law, Greg (Gayla) McKinney, and a sister-in-law, Lisa Beth (Keith)
