Skylar Drake "The Legend" Henshaw, a cherished soul known affectionately as Skylar to his friends and family, left this world on January 15, 2025, at the age of 40. Born on December 29, 1984, in Harrisburg, Illinois, where he also drew his last breath, Skylar's journey was one marked by love, laughter, and a legendary spirit that touched all who knew him.
Skylar was the beloved son of April Henshaw of Eldorado, Illinois, and the late Randy Moss and the late Willard Brown. He was the loving partner of McKenzie Stewart, with whom he shared a life full of joy and companionship in their hometown of Harrisburg. Skylar's legacy continues through his children, Skylar Henshaw Jr. of Belleville, Sylas Henshaw and Kace Jackson of Harrisburg, Cori Parrott of Chicago, Laylah, Scarlett, and Drake Leigh Henshaw of Harrisburg, and Kaylex Gibbs of Harrisburg.
