Judith Sue Aldridge, 82, of Eldorado, passed away on August 6, 2024, at home surrounded by
her family.
Sue was born in Eldorado, IL, on March 4, 1942, to the late Thomas and Juanita "Judy"
(Hardesty) McGowan. On October 20, 1962, she married her soulmate John Aldridge, who
preceded her in death on June 6, 2024. She is survived by seven children: Steve (Janice)
Aldridge of Harrisburg, David (Sherry) Aldridge of Creal Springs, Lisa (Jeff) Fetcho of Carmi,
Lynn (Jamie) Byrd, Lori (Brad) Woolcott, Lana (Rostin) Bergan and Leah (Aaron) Poole all of
Eldorado. Fifteen grandchildren: Justin Fetcho, Jara (Ryan) Mitchell, Adam Aldridge, Devin
(Lexi) Aldridge, Taylor (Damien) Wilburn, Ashley (Craig) Lloyd, Ben (Molly Shires) Byrd, Bryant
(Olivia Chapman) Byrd, Drew (Ashton) Woolcott, Abby (Gannon Mahoney) Woolcott, Anderson
Woolcott, Brendan Bergan, Briley Bergan, Washington Poole, Sullivan Poole. Twelve great
grandchildren: Paxton and Porter Fetcho, Kiptyn, Kori and Mika Mitchell, Westyn Mahone
