Joanne Brown age 88, of Harrisburg passed away on July 29, 2024 at 10:18 AM at her residence surrounded by her family.
Joanne was born on April 14, 1936 in Harrisburg to the late James H. and Servannah Elizabeth (Dunn) Brothers. On July 29, 1950 she married Donald Eugene Brown, and he preceded her in death on November 28, 1995. Joanne was a member of the Rudiment Social Brethren Church and the Harrisburg Lion's Club. She was a tough lady and was always there for her family. Joanne was a good mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family and her dog "Chole" deeply and they loved her.
Joanne is survived by her two children, Linda Brown of Harrisburg, and Jeremy Steven Brown of Evansville, Indiana; six grandchildren, Amy Ethridge and husband Richard of Harrisburg, Tim Rister and wife Christina of Lenior, Tennessee, Matthew Brown of Harrisburg, Alexis Brown of Harrisburg, Langston Rambert of Harrisburg and Felicia Rambert of Harrisburg; five great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Rister an
