Jack D. McCabe, 74, of Carrier Mills, IL died Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:45 AM in his son's residence in Harrisburg, IL. Jack's wishes were to be cremated; Graveside Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Salem Cemetery of Carrier Mills, IL. A time for services will be announced at a later date. Felty Funeral Home is assisting the family in making arrangements.
Jack was born on March 3, 1950 in Stonefort, IL to the late Paul and Imogene (Pugh) McCabe.
He enjoyed woodworking and worked as a carpenter for many years at Jolly Construction.
Jack is survived by his son, Chad (Crystal) McCabe of Harrisburg, IL; grandsons: Hunter Maloney of Harrisburg, IL, Chase Maloney of Galatia, IL and Creed McCabe of Harrisburg, IL; granddaughters: Harley McCabe of Benson, AZ and Harper McCabe of Harrisburg, IL; his brothers: Charles McCabe of Vandalia, IL, James Earl McCabe of Carrier Mills, IL, Gary McCabe of Goreville, IL and David Joe McCabe of Carbondale, IL.
