Alice M. Lamunion, 89, of Carrier Mills, IL died Saturday June 15, 2024 at 5:48 pm at the Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center. Private Family Graveside services will be held. There will be no public visitation. Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate and burial will be in Bolton-Trammell Cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family.
Alice was born on May 9, 1935 in Stonefort, IL to the late Walter and Julia (Bozarth) Mitchell.
She married Donald Lamunion on November 14, 1954 and he preceded in death on November 11, 2000.
She liked to cook and listen to country music with Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn being some of her favorites.
Alice was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church in Carrier Mills, IL and attended the Stonefort General Baptist Church when she was growing up.
